f.e.e.d. the culture

We conducted a city-wide community engagement campaign, which we named F.E.E.D. The Culture, that allowed individuals who experience food insecurity firsthand to identify the policy solutions that would benefit them and their families most. We published these results in the FEED The Culture report.

The City of Richmond accepted the results and codified them in the “Richmond 300” Master Plan document’s Objective 17.4: “Expand access to the local healthy food system, prioritizing residents in low-income areas.” This marks the first time in history that food access has ever been included the City of Richmond’s Master Plan.
